So guys, as a few of you may know, I was watching Lion King
3D the other day, as it just came out in the cinemas. So the way I see it, they’ve
basically gone and taken one of the all-time greatest movies… dare I say, one
of the greatest concepts and chucked it into the world of 3D.
Now I’m sure we’ve all heard to the saying “if it ain't broke, don't fix it ” ..So that got me thinking, contrary to that belief, to me it seems that 3D technology is slowly, but surely working its way into almost all industries and merging with other technologies to create something so subtly different, yet so beautiful.
So I'm gonna skip the basics, I'm pretty sure if you're all on this blog, you must be quite familiar by now with smartphones (if not, please do care to scroll down and a a skim over some of our previous posts) So I'm not going to get into any of the boring stuff about how 3D technology works, unless of course judging by your feedback, that is what you're interested, but for now I'll stick to the exciting stuff. So there is no doubt, that from films to TVs to
gaming, 3D is BIG right now,
and I see that smartphones are next.
| the embarrassing trend of Nivea's recent phone bills. |
So Since my current
phone contract is coming to a halt…
For obvious reason (my current rate plan is TERRIBLE!!).
I’ve found myself researching the new 3D phones currently on
the market.
SO I’VE GONE AND COMPILED SOMETHING OF A HOTLIST.

3D's cool, no doubt about that, but at the end of the day it's really just a gimmick, which actually does cause some people to have headaches...literally, due to the strain on the eyes from the 'auto-stereoscopic' screens...i'd advise you to go to your local store and play with one to see how you like it before you commit yourself to one for 24 months... but my prediction would be you'd use it alot for the first couple of days, and then your enthusiasm will wane...good luck ;)
ReplyDeletethanks for the advice abz! I thought the same thing after I read this article on PC world.
